Didn't repair gas cookers

I rang about my son's washer on Monday as he's in work and can't do it himself and Dave came out to look at it on Tuesday. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He quickly found out that the pump wasn't working properly so now I can tell my son that he has the choice to either have a new pump fitted or buy a new washer. No pressure was put onto me to buy and have the pump fitted like a lot of other companies would. If my son decides to have a new pump fitted it will definitely be done by St Helens Repair Service. I have already recommended them to a friend who needs a repair and won't hesitate to recommend them again. Thank you to them for very good service. My son decided to have a pump fitted instead of buying a new washer. Dave came back today and had the job completed in no time at all. Very pleased.

Phoned Monday, explained the problem, was told Wednesday before 1pm, but we are really busy. The engineer arrived at 12.45, Wednesday, and was very friendly and efficient. A really nice guy. Very quickly dignosed and repaired a minor fault. Stayed till he was certain there were no leaks or other problems. The charge was very reasonable and the machine was up and running again. Would certainly use again and recommend to anyone who needs a good level of service. Excellent job, many thanks!

Contacted St Helens repair service after our three year old zanussi oven stopped heating up. The engineer that came was very pleasant and wore ppe. Diagnosed the problem very quickly and had the oven back up and working in no time. I would recommend 100% great service.

Used these guys for my dishwasher door reapair that has mysteriously broke twice. Very polite and helpful on the call to arrange. Dave the guy who has come to fix it on both occasions is friendly and chatty, efficient and knowledgable. I will continue to use SHRS in the future. Thanks

The guy was punctual, knowledgeable and friendly he could have charged me for a very expensive repair but told me that it would be cheaper to buy a new washing machine. That's the kind of honesty that goes a long way in this world so thank you so much hopefully the new one wont break but if it does I'll be giving these guys a call.

Excellent service yet again! We first called St Helens Repair Service at the end of August, when we had just returned from holiday and the washing machine would not drain. Dave came out and was friendly, polite and got the machine working again with a new pump within 30 minutes of arriving. We have just had another visit from Dave, this time to resolve a motor issue with the same machine and again he was friendly, polite and got the machine working during the visit. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Absolutely awful customer service. Very rude lady on the phone. Whoever owns this business wants to seriously consider what damage this lady is causing to the reputation of this business. I had booked an appointment on Tuesday for Friday. Called Friday to get a more accurate time of when the engineer would be arriving instead of (1-6pm). She was very unhelpful and when I tried to pin down a more accurate time she just assumed I didn’t want the appointment and told me she was cancelling it!! … 10/10 for customer service NOT

Quick, competent, friendly, efficient engineer. I highly recommend this service. I rang on Monday and explained the problem that I had with the washing machine and on Tuesday morning the engineer came and solved everything. Tuesday at noon the first load of washing was ready and on the washing line. Couldn't have had a better experience. Thanks a lot!

Phoned up on Saturday and explained problem with my washing machine to the person on the phone who took my details. Explained how they work and about their call out fee. Told me they would be out after one on the following Tuesday. On the Tuesday a man called and I showed him the machine and within minutes he had fixed the problem. I couldn't thank him enough. Would use again.

Guy came out to repair my dad's washing machine, turned out to be nothing more than lint stuck in the drain. No parts used, 5 minutes of labour. Agreed that the £25 charge was reasonable, however «unknown» charge of extra £30 is criminal. Amazingly the guy couldn't justify why he was charging the extra but merely said «because you didn't go ahead with the repair». How can you go ahead with a repair if no flippin' parts are needed? Shoddy outfit with shoddy repair people. So removing a small piece of lint is now worth £30 extra? Explain how you repaired the machine with no parts, this should be good. The name on the chit was Dutta. That should help you find the tradesman. It's really professional when an 'engineer' turns up in a micra. I guess times are hard and you have to rip some people off

Phoned to repair my dryer.. given company my details address contact number and make of the dryer.. I was given a date 10 days later. Friday the 3rd. Was told after 1pm. My wife took half day off work for this.. got a call off the engineer at 1.35 saying he isn't coming as he doesn't cover my area.3 and a half miles from there address in st Helens.. asked why he didn't tell me this 10 days ago when I phoned to book the job in.. his reply was I'm telling you now.. very rude.. COMPANY IS A JOKE

I never leave negative reviews on any site & i must say the lady on the phone was very helpful but the repair man messed me about so much i waited over 30 days for a part that he said he had ordered after numerous phone calls from me to him i decided to go with someone else and it was fixed in 3 days, the repair man from here told me i would have to wait 30 days for the part no matter what company i went with because the part isnt available anywhere in uk, im still waiting on this man with the part 50 days on and 25 pound out of pocket, makes me wonder does he do this to others,i would of prefered him just to say he couldnt do it rather than make me wait all that time but i just assumed he was being truthful l eventually decided to see for myself if the part could be ordered and yes it could within 3 working days, i would still have no washer today if i hadnt of gone elsewhere i wouldnt recomend to anyone.

I rang on a Wednesday evening and they fit me in the following day. Dave came out and had the parts on his van and the problem fixed before he had finished he tea. Great service, and would defiantly recommend them again.

Called late on Wednesday, they came on Thursday afternoon, fixed the tumble dryer, fixed the oven, all with a professional friendly and helpful mannor and left us with working appliances and a small bill! Absolutly spot on! Highly recommended!
